How we work
Every family’s situation is different, so we start by listening. We will not quote you a plan from a brochure. We will take time to understand what you already know, what is worrying you, and what practical questions need an answer. We will then explain the position clearly and tell you honestly where specialist advice is likely to be needed.
What we are, and what we are not
We are information and guidance specialists on care home fees and property planning. Where a question needs a regulated financial adviser, a solicitor or an accountant, we will say so and help you find one. We will never pretend to hold a qualification we do not have, and we will never pressure you into a product.
Where we are
Our office is based in the North East of England. Most conversations happen by phone or video, so we are able to help families wherever they live in the UK.
Professional standards
Our written materials are reviewed against current public guidance from GOV.UK, Age UK and the NHS on care funding, deprivation of assets and NHS Continuing Healthcare. Where rules differ between the four nations of the UK, we point that out rather than quoting an English figure as if it applied everywhere.
